Introduction:

The purpose of this course is to help you develop skills, knowledge and techniques you can use to help yourself and others to improve the quality of life.

On completion of your course you will be armed with the knowledge required to provide information, advice and products based on the thousands of years experience gathered by others before you. You will also have a basic knowledge of the most popular Ayurvedic therapies. Should you wish to continue with your Ayurvedic training by way of practical ‘hands on’ training, this course will serve as the ideal introduction.

It is the aim of this course to provide you with invaluable knowledge, you should be aware, however, that distance learning cannot provide you with the experience and skills required to offer Ayurvedic Therapies to others on a commercial basis.

Throughout this course all products used will be based on natural occurring herbs and spices.

This course does not suggest or imply that at any time you will be in a position to make claims of medical treatments or cures from illness, disease or any other medical condition.

Course designers:

The course is designed and compiled by the qualified team of Ayurvedic doctors based at the Ayurvedic Natural Centre Pvt Ltd in Saligao, North Goa, India. See: www.healthandayurveda.com

Using the course material:

The course is based on six modules over a period of six months. At the end of the course, students will be asked to complete an examination paper which will be assessed/marked by the Chief Medical Offer at ANHC Saligao. A pass mark of 85% or above is required for the issue of the stage one certificate. The actual examination will be based on the information provided in the course notes and is thus marked/assessed on the student’s ability to be able to ‘find’ the information supplied.

Each module of your course will be supplied separately either by post or by email. Course storage and certain material will be supplied only by post.

Each module will include:

  • Subject matter.
  • Practical.
  • Self Assessment.

You will need to set aside time for study somewhere you will have peace and quiet.

Study Method:

Read through the complete module to familiarise yourself with the module theme. Go back to the beginning and study each topic with care. Check in your supporting material, in your local library or on-line for any additional information on the subject matter.

Supply Method: By email only.

Full email support is available on a daily basis from Monday to Saturday throughout the course.

Weekly on-line clinics will be available one day each week and we recommend you to use Skype and webcam.
